Community of Practice

This is our informal learning community that focusses on place-based work. It’s open to anyone who practices it or is interested in learning more about it, and the bi-monthly sessions are always free to attend.

Join an informal learning
community

With decades of experience in place-based systems change, we know how important collaboration and learning is to creating lasting change. This is why we set up our Community of Practice, a free learning space for anyone practising or interested in place-based work. While some conversations are private, we are committed to sharing the learning we generate to help advance this field and support anyone working in it.

Free bi-monthly meetings

Usually running for one hour over lunch via Zoom, our learning sessions are always free to attend. Once a year, we’ll host a longer meeting in person.

Share ideas and experiences

As a community of around 200 practitioners, funders and researchers, this is a great space to share and learn from others who can relate to your work.

Get tools and advice

Sharing practical tools and insights from the field, occasional guest speakers can provide support for your place-based project.
